On July 19, 2018, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moscow presented a draft convention on the establishment of the Council of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the Eurasian Economic Area.

The purpose of the Council is to find common economic interests, to discuss ways of developing bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

The convention was signed by the directors of seven chambers, Yerevan, Moscow, Istanbul, Yekaterinburg, Krasnoyarsk, Karachi and Bratislava.
