On January 26, a seminar-discussion on “Contemporary Legal Issues of Medical Institutions” was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Yerevan.
Acting Executive Director of CCI of Yerevan Artak Mikayelyan made opening remarks.
Emin Avetisyan, Head of the Legal Department of the RA Ministry of Health, highlighted the necessity of holding the event and presented to the participants the reforms made by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia.
The event was attended by Sasun Shahnazaryan and Michael Avetisyan, whos have more than ten years experience
in area of healthcare. Speakers presented the current legal issues of the rights and responsibilities of physicians and patients. In particular, they touched upon the issues of medical institutions, the need for professional development of doctors, the patient’s medical intervention, and the publication of medical secrets.
During the seminar, interactive discussions on contemporary legal issues took place.
